Western Drawing Room

Display of furniture in this room has been arranged following an old photographic representation of the drawing room. In the middle of the floor a luxuriant Persian carpet is spread on which variety of period furniture along with a long piano are demonstrated. Life sized fabulous portraits of King William IV, Lord Wellesley, Herbert Moddock, Deputy Governor (unknown painter), alongside a metallic Barometer, uncovered metal watch and a Grand Father Clock, are worthwhile to be mentioned. Apart from these, colourful, ornamented and sometimes painted porcelain vases within decorated showcases, statue, delicate cut glass/crystal chandeliers, small mirrors, colour photograph of Jafraganj cemetery, litho-photograph of yellow mosque etc. Proliferated the exquisiteness of the gallery.
